Liquid's star Keith "NAF" Markovic is the Most Valuable Player of SuperNova CS:GO Malta by HLTV.org and betway.
The Canadian star secures the award after leading Liquid in their title-winning campaign in Saint Julian's, averaging a 1.31 rating at the $150,000 tournament.
NAF was a consistent force throughout the event with seven out of eight maps with a 1.15+ rating, with his only sub-1.00 rated map coming from the team's sole map loss in Group A's winners' match against NRG.
The 21-year-old beat out some serious competition in two of his teammates, Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski — who was the best player of the playoffs, with NAF being a close second-best — and Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken, as well as three of his opponents in the final: Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov, Ethan "Ethan" Arnold, and Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte.
Outside of finishing the event as the second highest-rated player, NAF topped the charts as the hardest player to kill (0.50 deaths per round) and the player with the most overall contribution (82.9% KAST), which helps explain how consistent he was during the tournament.
This is his second MVP award since joining Liquid, leading the team to both of their titles, cs_summit 2 and SuperNova, and his third overall including SL i-League Invitational Shanghai, from when he was part of Renegades.
